This painting is plein air and was done at the University of Ariziona Farm which is in the middle of town believe it or not. One of the concepts I have to keep reminding myself about is "simplicity". Often times I am overwhelmed with what is around me and try to paint very complex scenes. The lesson in plein air is to go for simplicity. I think I have achieved that in this painting.
