Near Route 57 - oil on panel - 9" x 12"

This field study won a cash merit award at the Tubac Center for the Arts.  The painting was done in New Mexico between Santa Fe and Albuquerque.  There are some beautiful spots to paint out there.

Lovely! I adore this part of the country and the way you captured it's beauty and light. I found you thru Kelley MacDonald and have tagged you. See my blog for details. It's a new blog game for a new blogger. Hope you don't mind playing. If so, just enjoy a few new viewers to your blog. Thanks for the inspiration.

love it. Just took my first trip to the SW. Sedona, specifically. This reminds me of it. Nice color harmony, too.
