Rociada, New Mexico - Oil on Board - 7" x 12"

This is another plein air painting I did while in New Mexico. It required a little tweaking but I think it is a good painting. I just came back from the framers looking for a good frame for my new style of painting. I want a signature frame - A frame that comes in a variety of wood colors but has the same profile. I think I have found one. It won't be ready for a few weeks but when it is I will post the painting with the frame. The thing that intriqued and challenged me about this scene is the variety of colors in the field to include some dew. What a beautiful place.
