The Other Side of the Sierras - Oil on Board - 18" x 14"

This is the under painting in the verdaccio method.  I made my own gesso from Marble Dust and Rabbit Skin Glue.  The final results after several glazes and opaque application is below. This painting can be seen at Wilde Meyer Gallery, Scottsdale/Tucson, Arizona

Mora Farmland - Oil on Canvas on Board - 12" x 18"

This painting is of the northern part of New Mexico.  I love painting in this area.  The clouds and farmland views are outstanding not to mention the hills and mountains.

Desert Farming Fields - 10" x 13" - Oil on Muslin

This plein air painting was done by the roadside.  The mountains jutting up from the fields made me pause.  It's atmospheric quality that day was unusual for the desert in Southern Arizona.

Desert Sky - Oil on Muslin on Board - 24" x 38"

I finally have my camera equipment organized and set up to take good quality photos of my work.  Moving around too many times in a short period of time can really mess you up!!!

I did this painting last Tuesday just before the rains began.  I love how the storm rolls in off the shore.
