This painting was done from a house boat on Lake Powell. It is on the border of Utah and Arizona. This was the second painting I did while I was there. In many ways I prefer this one to the others because of the lighting and lack of detail. It is hard to paint those cliffs with all their detail. I will post another one tomorrow that I did with more detail and you can be the judge.
